Evani Yoga’s Founder
Hi! I’m Vania, the founder of Evani Yoga Studio.
After discovering how much yoga helped me feel more balanced and in tune both physically and mentally, I took a trip to Mysore, India to train with true devotees of the practice who hail from generations of yogis. There I became certified, specializing in Hatha, the foundation of all yoga styles.
I began teaching in downtown Los Angeles up until the pandemic shutdown. Thereafter, I moved to Berlin and initially ventured into other creative fields. It was only until recently that I made a deliberate shift in my career to prioritize my health and wellness and launch my own yoga teaching business.
Evani Yoga Studio was nothing more than an idea two years ago.
Today, I am truly happy to open its doors to all those seeking to become stronger, healthier, and happier through yoga.

HEALING HATHA
Hatha Yoga synchs the breath with movement to strike balance between the mental and physical energy. The 'Ha' represents the mind while the 'Tha' represents life force (Prana). Hatha is typically slower-paced than Vinyasa, with more static poses and more focus on finding balance.
courses
INVIGORATING VINYASA
Vinyasa links the conscious breath to fluid movement, seamlessly flowing from one posture into the next in a varied sequence. Vinyasa builds strength and endurance, increases cardiovascular health, improves metabolism and flexibility, and heightens mind & body awareness.
courses
RESTORATIVE YIN
Relax, recharge, and revitalize with restorative yin yoga, a slower and more meditative practice in which passive poses are held for 3-5 minutes to encourage both deeper stretching and deeper contemplation. Yin yoga induces calm while improving flexibility and joint mobility.

What to expect
What if I'm late?
Out of respect for all students, doors will close promptly once class begins. To avoid any class disruptions, late comers will not be able to participate. Please arrive 5-10 minutes early to give yourself enough time to kick off your shoes and make yourself comfortable on your mat.
What should I bring?
Mats, blocks, straps, and blankets are provided but you are more than welcome to bring your own. Please note that there are no lockers but all belongings can be left in the common area.
Where can I park?
We do not have a designated parking lot but street parking is available. Please allow enough time to search for a spot. We are located 10 min away on foot from S-Bahn station Halensee.
What should I wear?
Stretchy, breathable clothes that allow free and unrestricted movement are ideal. Comfort is key. Shoes must be removed. It's strongly advised to remove socks for better grip. A small dressing room is available for changing, as is the restroom.
What if I'm new to yoga?
Beginners are heartily welcome! Yoga is for everyone at every level and modifications can always be made as needed. We are here to encourage and support at every level!
